Job summary

Shirley Parsons are partnering with a leading UK infrastructure contractor to recruit a Senior Quality Advisor for a major Water project based in the North West of England. The role involves on-site quality leadership across multiple sites, driving improvements and ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 standards.

You will conduct audits, manage non-conformances and lead quality briefings, collaborating with Project Managers, engineers and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in the water sector or infrastructure projects is essential.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
• CQI membership or Chartered Quality Professional status is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Willingness to travel regularly across project sites.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Shirley Parsons are partnering with a longstanding client and one of the UK's leading infrastructure contractors to recruit a Senior Quality Advisor for a significant Water project based in the North West of England. The role offers the chance to work across a diverse portfolio of water and wastewater projects while influencing quality performance directly on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting site quality audits, inspections and assurance activities.
• Undertaking supplier audits and quality assessments.
• Supporting the management of non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and ISO 9001 standards.
• Leading quality briefings and promoting best practice across projects.
• Working directly with Project Managers, engineers, supervisors and client stakeholders.
• Water sector experience
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
• Experience conducting audits and managing corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

This is a site-focused position. Successful candidates should expect to spend the majority of their time working alongside project teams and visiting operational sites. Operational sites will be based around Merseyside, Cheshire, Cumbria and Lancashire
