Job summary

Building Careers UK Ltd is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager for high-value residential Design & Build schemes in the North West. You will drive commercial and operational performance, leading from pre-construction through to final account on projects valued from £5m to £100m.

The ideal candidate brings strong QS and project leadership experience, a solid grasp of CVRs, forecasting, procurement, and contract administration.

Qualifications

Experience in residential Design & Build projects.
Delivery of projects from £5m to £100m.
Strong QS and commercial management experience.
Contract understanding and delivery expertise.

Responsibilities

Take responsibility for commercial and operational performance of residential projects.
Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and final account.
Lead procurement and manage subcontractor accounts.
Handle valuations, payments, variations, and final accounts.
Monitor programmes, costs, quality, and delivery.
Collaborate with site teams and senior management to improve performance.
Manage client, consultant, subcontractor, supplier relationships.
Identify commercial risks and opportunities.
Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and docs.
Provide regular reports to senior management.
Mentor junior team members.
