IonQ seeks a Senior QPU Design Engineer to join the Processor Design team in Oxford Ionics, now part of IonQ. You will integrate features to operate quantum computers into complex chips and work with scientists to bring ion trapping designs into production.

You will drive layout, tape-out, and cross-team collaboration to deliver high-performance quantum processing units for next-generation systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in translating design requirements into chip features and layout.
• Ability to collaborate across teams to define specifications and feasibility.
• Self-driven with proven delivery of complex tape-out projects.
