Job summary

AMC Group, operating in recycling and metals analysis, seeks a Senior Analyst for the Quality Control Laboratory in Stoke-on-Trent. You will perform analytical testing, ensure adherence to SOPs/ISO procedures, and document results in 1LIMS.

The role requires hands-on work, accuracy under pressure, and collaboration with R&D and production teams. Experience in QC labs with diverse methods and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a QC laboratory with diverse analytical methods.
• Ability to work according to QC and ISO procedures.
• Hands-on approach and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and 1LIMS.
• Awareness of Health & Safety procedures.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve performance and product analysis in the Laboratory.
• Analyse production and finished goods samples according to SOPs.
• Document results in Databases/1LIMS.
• Operate and maintain analytical equipment.
• Maintain and supervise 1LIMS System.
• Review quality records.
• Release materials for despatch.
• Develop or improve new analytical SOPs with R&D.
• Cooperate with Quality, Site and Production Manager.
• Develop robust methods for maintaining the quality of results.
• Introduce new equipment and methods.
• Automate routine tasks.
