Job summary

• Develop or improve new analytical SOPs with R&D.
• Cooperate with Quality, Site and Production Manager.
• Develop robust methods for maintaining the quality of results.
• Introduce new equipment and methods.
• Automate routine tasks.

The role of Senior Analyst will be working for Keeling & Walker Ltd at their Quality Control Laboratory based at Stoke on Trent.

Main Responsibilities:

• Improve performance and product analysis in the Laboratory,
• Analyse production and finished goods samples according to SOPs
• Document the results in Databases/ 1LIMS
• Operate and maintain analytical equipment
• Maintain and supervise 1LIMS System
• Review quality records
• Release materials for despatch
• Develop or improve new analytical SOPs, if needed in cooperation with the R&D Team
• Cooperate with the Quality, Site and Production Manager
• Develop robust methods for maintaining the quality of the analytical results
• Introduce new equipment and methods
• Automate routine tasks
• BET Surface Area, Particle Size Analysis, Bulk and Tap Density, NIR Spectroscopy; Electrical Conductivity; Elemental Analysis by ICP, XRF, XRD, DLS, Wet Chemistries
• Support of QC and R&D team members

Requirements:

• Experience in a QC laboratory, preferably experienced with different methods
• Ability to work according to QC and ISO procedures
• Hands on approach
