Low Carbon Contracts Company in Birmingham is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to own quality across our Scrum teams. You will drive testing practices, deliver high test coverage, mentor peers, and ensure quality-first mindset in fast-paced delivery.

You will design test strategies, automate, integrate with CI/CD, perform performance and non-functional testing, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ship reliable software.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience in software testing, test automation and QA.
• Hands-on experience in test planning, test case design, and test execution.
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategies, plans and cases from user stories.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Identify, report and track defects with teams.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct performance, load and non-functional testing.
• Create and maintain test documentation.
• Mentor other QA engineers.
