Job summary

Content Guru, Bracknell, Berkshire, seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead test automation and elevate software quality. You will stay hands-on across automated and manual testing while mentoring other QA engineers and collaborating with the Applications team to ensure stable releases.

You will design and maintain automated test suites, develop test plans, coordinate testing activities, and continually improve QA practices for efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in software Quality Assurance or software testing.
• Strong hands-on experience designing, developing and maintaining automated tests.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, processes and testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and expansion of automated testing.
• Design, develop and maintain effective automated test suites.
• Increase automated test coverage and reduce repetitive manual testing.
• Review testing tools and approaches to improve efficiency.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Plan and coordinate testing activities with release requirements.
• Perform manual, regression and usability testing as needed.
• Identify, document and track defects through to resolution.
• Investigate issues and support effective resolution with the Applications team.
• Coach and mentor QA Engineers in automation and testing best practices.
• Share knowledge to help standardise testing practices across the team.
• Track testing metrics and use findings to drive improvements.
