Job summary

Veygo, backed by Admiral Group, is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality engineering across web, mobile, and backend services. You will define end-to-end testing strategies, stay hands-on with testing, and build reliable automation across platforms using Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Appium and more.

You will collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to shape architecture, improve release confidence and drive quality from discovery through delivery.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing experience across web, mobile and backend services.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, WebdriverIO).
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript for test automation.
• Strong CI/CD and automation integration into release pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own squad's end-to-end testing strategy balancing risk, coverage, speed and confidence.
• Stay hands-on exploring journeys and testing changes alongside automation.
• Build and maintain reliable automation across web, mobile, APIs and system journeys.
• Improve delivery feedback by integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and diagnosing failures.
• Influence architecture and requirements to bake in quality from the start.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to resolve issues and improve quality.
