Veygo is hiring a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality engineering within a cross‑functional squad, blending hands‑on testing with automation across web, mobile and backend services.

You’ll define end‑to‑end testing, build reliable automation, and work with Product, Design and Engineering to ship safer, more reliable customer experiences. Experience with Cypress/Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, and cloud testing is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in software development in test or software engineering with a strong focus on automation and quality.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Espresso, XCUITest or WebdriverIO.
• Experience testing native Android and iOS apps, including running builds locally and validating behaviour across devices, operating systems and app versions.
• Understanding of testing journeys across web, mobile, backend services and third‑party integrations.
• Strong CI/CD experience and how automated testing supports reliable releases.
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to influence technical decisions through constructive challenge.

Responsabilités

• Own your squad’s testing strategy. Define end‑to‑end testing scope balancing risk, coverage, speed and release confidence.
• Stay hands-on. Explore journeys, investigate unexpected behaviour and test changes alongside automation.
• Build reliable automation. Design and maintain frameworks across web, mobile, APIs and system‑level journeys.
• Improve delivery feedback. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, investigate failures and maintain tests.
• Bring quality into discovery. Influence architecture and requirements to consider risk and testability early.
• Mentor QAs and engineers; share best practices and improve processes.
• Develop our use of AI. Apply AI-assisted engineering tools to improve testing and efficiency.
