Low Carbon Contracts Company is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to own quality within the Scrum team. You will drive testing practices, deliver high‑quality coverage, mentor peers, and enable engineers to adopt a quality‑first mindset in a fast‑paced agile environment.

You will collaborate with development teams to plan, design, and execute tests, and you will contribute to the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring robust reliability across our systems.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience in software testing and QA.
• Hands-on test planning and execution.
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Execution: Define test strategies and test cases; execute and document results.
• Test Automation: design and maintain automated scripts; improve framework with other engineers.
• Defect Management: identify, report, and track defects; drive timely resolution.
• Continuous Testing: integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for regression testing.
• Performance and Load Testing: assess system performance and scalability.
• Non-Functional Testing: participate in security, accessibility, and usability testing.
• Test Documentation: create and maintain test plans, cases, and reports.
• Test Environment Management: set up and maintain testing environments.
• Test Data Management: ensure availability of test data for scenarios.
• Mentorship & Quality Leadership: mentor QAs and promote quality culture.
