Cognizant is hiring a QA / Test Automation Engineer for a hybrid role in Burgess Hill. You will design and maintain UI/Web automation frameworks and perform end-to-end testing on modern web apps, preferably ReactJS-based. Strong Playwright, Cypress or WebdriverIO skills and CI/CD experience are essential.

You will collaborate with development and product teams, drive automation best practices, and contribute to a continuous improvement culture within an Agile environment.

Qualifikationen

• Good experience of Quality Engineering / Software Testing.
• Strong Playwright / Cypress / WebdriverIO expertise.
• Strong UI/Web Test Automation experience.
• Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD, preferably Jenkins and Sauce Labs.
• Knowledge of BDD / Cucumber.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop and maintain robust UI/Web automation frameworks.
• Strong hands-on automation using Playwright, Cypress and/or WebdriverIO.
• Automate modern web applications, preferably ReactJS-based.
• Perform functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Develop reusable and maintainable automated test scripts.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with tools such as Jenkins and Sauce Labs.
• Apply BDD/Cucumber approaches where appropriate.
• Analyse test failures and support defect investigation.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure effective test coverage.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of automation and Quality Engineering practices.
