Job summary

HID in Cardiff, part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, is seeking a Staff QA Automation Engineer to join its Test Automation Team. You will own automation strategy across software, devices and integrated systems, shaping the team’s roadmap and strengthening our end-to-end testing capability.

You’ll design scalable automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and test environments, while collaborating with product and engineering to plan features, discern risks, and deliver reliable, high-quality solutions for

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or suitable practical experience.
• At least seven years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience designing and conducting software, device, systems-integration and end-to-end testing.
• Substantial experience developing complex, maintainable automated test solutions using scripting or programming languages.
• Experience installing, configuring and testing software in Windows and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Create, own and continuously improve scalable automation test frameworks.
• Design, implement and manage automated test suites and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, triage and resolve pipeline test failures and document changes.
