Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial software engineering experience with Python
• Cloud-native backend development and containerisation experience
• Experience with large-scale data processing and architectural decisions
• Excellent communication across multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Design and scale cloud-native backend systems for high performance
• Drive cloud-native best practices including resiliency, observability, security, and deployment
• Develop robust APIs to integrate external tools and data sources
• Lead code reviews, contribute to architecture discussions, mentor junior engineers
• Work with engineering software, simulation tools, and numerically focused workloads
