Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join our global AI and SaaS client in a hybrid role near Hedge End, Southampton. You will build automation tooling in Python, and implement Terraform-based IaC across complex environments using AWS cloud services.

You will collaborate with platform and engineering teams to drive reliability, scalability and faster delivery of production-quality code, while taking advantage of a supportive team and ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years commercial experience with Python.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
• CI/CD pipelines experience; AWS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Building automation frameworks and tooling using Python.
• Developing Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform.
• Creating reusable templates and code generation platforms using Jinja/Jinja2.
• Automating Windows environments through PowerShell.
• Managing and improving configuration management with Puppet.
• Building CI/CD integrations for infrastructure delivery.
• Collaborating with cloud, platform and engineering teams to improve automation.
