Job summary

Spectrum IT is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join a global AI & SaaS specialist in a hybrid role based in Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire. You will build automation frameworks with Python, develop IaC using Terraform, and create reusable templates while collaborating with cloud, platform and engineering teams to improve automation and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years commercial experience with Python
• Experience with Terraform and IaC
• Knowledge of buisling CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Building automation frameworks and tooling using Python
• Developing Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform
• Creating reusable templates and code generation platforms using Jinja/Jinja2
• Automating Windows environments through PowerShell
• Managing and improving configuration management with Puppet
• Building CI/CD integration's for infrastructure delivery
• Working closely with cloud, platform and engineering teams to improve automation and operational efficiency
• Driving infrastructure standardisation, reliability and scalability across complex environments
