Job summary

Intellias seeks an experienced infrastructure/platform engineer to own our internal infrastructure platform and drive scalable improvements. You will automate operations, implement observability, and collaborate across engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable systems.

The role focuses on on-prem and cloud-enabled infrastructure, with strong emphasis on Python, Terraform, Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes, and mature CI/CD practices. London office-based role with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with focus on infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Strong Python with testing, typing, packaging, and Bash scripting.
• Solid Linux fundamentals; on-prem infrastructure incl networking, storage, virtualization.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Docker and Kubernetes knowledge; workload scheduling and runtime access.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar.
• Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
• Platform security: secrets management, IAM, network isolation.
• Troubleshooting and cross-team collaboration.
• English B2+; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal infrastructure platform.
• Collaborate with engineering to turn pain points into scalable platform features.
• Automate manual infrastructure operations and build self-service workflows.
• Implement observability with metrics, structured logging, and alerting.
• Own production issues from troubleshooting to permanent resolution.
• Scale on-prem compute and storage with performance and cost in mind.
• Embed security best practices and auditability.
• Evaluate new tools and contribute to the platform roadmap.
