Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Software Engineer III with AWS and Python expertise to help engineer and deploy ML solutions. You’ll join the Applied AIML Software Engineering team, collaborating with technology teams across the firm to deliver production-ready models.

You will work with Data Scientists to build cloud-based frameworks for hosting models, ensuring SDLC compliance and secure, scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Experience building/maintaining production applications.
• Strong software development practices: version control, testing, CI/CD.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with MLOps and AI tooling.
• Experience with enterprise AI tooling and evaluating AI outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI and secure data handling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, secure applications using Python and AWS
• Create architecture and design deliverables
• Integrate AIML solutions into domain-specific operations processing systems
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile planning sessions
• Collaborate with SRE and production monitoring teams to ensure system reliability and performance
