Job summary

Harvey Nash Group is seeking a Senior Full Stack Python Engineer to drive backend services in Python and engineer AI-enabled data platforms in a hybrid London environment. The role focuses on building MCP servers, async processing, and enterprise integrations while delivering scalable enterprise-grade software.

You will work with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions, integrating React front-ends and data-visualisation interfaces using AG Grid and Oracle databases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of practical Python development experience.
• Asynchronous programming and distributed task processing expertise.
• Hands-on with Celery, Redis, Celery Beat and Flower.
• Experience building MCP servers and tools.
• Agentic AI workflows with LangChain / LangGraph.
• React front-end development experience.
• Experience with AG Grid and data-heavy UIs.
• Strong SQL, ideally Oracle.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices.
• Tests and production-grade software delivery experience.
• Excellent communication with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services in Python.
• Build asynchronous pipelines using Celery and Redis.
• Create MCP servers to expose internal APIs to AI agents.
• Implement agentic AI workflows with LangChain / LangGraph.
• Develop modern React front-ends and data visualisations with AG Grid.
• Define scalable, resilient architectural decisions.
