Job summary

Harvey Nash Group is seeking Senior/Lead Data Engineers to join a UK-wide client delivering value across Financial Services, Fintech, Public Sector and Utilities. You will work on modern data engineering, reporting, and cloud data solutions with Python, Spark, SQL, PySpark and Power BI.

The role emphasizes client-facing advisory, Agile delivery, and experience with Snowflake/Databricks in a dynamic data practice.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with modern data engineering and reporting, data storage, data pipelines and analytical data reporting.
• Extensive knowledge using Python, Spark, SQL, PySpark, PowerBI.
• Hands-on client facing roles, providing techical advise to clients or solving engineering challenges.
• Strong background in Software Engineering including Front-end technologies such as Javascript.
• Wealth of knowledge designing and building well-structured and maintainable systems.
• Strong Cloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Extensive knowledge working in an Agile environment.
• CI/CD tooling experience
• Prior experience working on products such as Snowflake and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to clients and solve engineering challenges.
• Design and implement data pipelines and analytical reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver maintainable systems.
• Leverage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) to build scalable data solutions.
