Job summary

Harnham - Data and Analytics Recruitment is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join a high-growth technology team in London. You will own end-to-end development of an AI-powered enterprise platform, working across React, Python, AWS and modern cloud tech.

You will design full-stack features, implement secure auth, integrate with third-party systems, and collaborate with AI specialists to deliver enterprise-grade capabilities with robust CI/CD and security practices.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience building full‑stack applications in production environments.
• Advanced TypeScript and React development skills.
• Strong Python backend development experience using FastAPI or Django.
• Excellent PostgreSQL and SQL expertise, including data modelling and optimisation.
• Experience building secure authentication and RBAC systems.
• Knowledge of AWS or comparable cloud platforms.
• Experience with containers, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices.
• Interest in AI-enabled software products and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver full‑stack product features across frontend, backend, and database layers
• Develop complex user interfaces using TypeScript and React
• Build and maintain scalable Python services and REST APIs using FastAPI or Django
• Design and optimise PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, migrations, and query performance
• Develop secure authentication, authorisation, and access control systems for enterprise applications
• Build integrations with third‑party platforms such as Microsoft 365, CRMs, HR systems, and document management tools
• Collaborate with AI specialists to deliver AI‑enabled product features and workflows
• Create reliable event‑driven services, background processing systems, and real‑time application functionality
• Contribute to cloud‑native applications running on AWS
• Champion software quality through testing, code reviews, security best practices, and CI/CD processes
