Job summary

Client Server Limited in London is seeking a Senior Python Developer to lead backend engineering and data-focused work for a real-time platform. You’ll design resilient services, data models and pipelines, integrating Postgres, Redshift and analytics APIs in a fintech context.

The role offers a remote-first setup with quarterly in-person meetups in London; UK-based applicants only. You will influence architecture and data strategy while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Python backend experience across the full development lifecycle.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices.
• AWS experience including Amazon Redshift.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, DBT, ETL and data modelling.
• Familiar with event-driven architectures.
• Experience in Fintech/Payments/eCommerce or high-throughput domains.
• Collaborative with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build resilient, modular backend services and data models.
• Create data flows between Postgres, Redshift, analytics layers and APIs.
• Support trading, billing and analytics platforms with robust backend services.
• Collaborate with the team in a remote-first London-based setting.
