Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Pump Engineer to service and maintain pump systems across London and Greater London. You will fault-find, diagnose issues and carry out planned and reactive maintenance in commercial plant rooms, working as part of a team and independently on smaller works.

The role offers a £60,000 basic salary, a company vehicle, fuel card, overtime opportunities, and a broad benefits package including holidays and pension.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Pump Engineer or Field Pump Engineer.
• Experience maintaining pump systems in commercial plant rooms.
• Background in M&E environments.

Responsibilities

• Service, fault-find and maintain a variety of pump systems within commercial plant rooms.
• Attend client sites across London and Greater London.

• Diagnose faults and provide effective technical solutions.

The Role

The Person

• Proven experience working as a Pump Engineer / Field Pump Engineer
• Strong knowledge of pump systems and associated plant room equipment
• A background working within commercial buildings, plant rooms or M&E environments

• A strong understanding of engineering standards and safe working practices
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
• The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team
