Job summary

Pyramid Recruitment Ltd is hiring an experienced Pump Engineer for our Bagshot, Surrey base. You will install, service and maintain waste and booster pump systems, diagnose faults and carry out both planned and reactive maintenance.

Role requires ~10 years' relevant experience, CSCS card, confined space training, and a professional, independent work style with the ability to work in a team. Company van and tools provided, with on-call rotation and generous leave.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years' experience with waste pumps or booster pumps.
• Previous experience in a pump engineering or similar mechanical engineering role.
• Confined Space training/certification.
• A valid CSCS card.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Professional and reliable approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing and maintenance of waste and booster pump systems.
• Diagnose and repair pump and associated equipment faults.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Attend breakdowns and emergency call-outs as required.
• Work safely within confined spaces where required.
• Complete work to a high standard while following health and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Provide professional support and advice to customers and colleagues.

Location: Bagshot, Surrey

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience £65,000 - £70,000 OTE

Hours: 45 hours per week, with approximately 40 hours overtime per month

On-Call: 1 in 5 weeks

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Pump Engineer to join our team in Bagshot. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in waste pumps or booster pumps who is looking for a long-term role with a well-supported company.

The successful candidate will have around 10 years' experience working with waste pumps or booster pump systems and will be confident carrying out installation, maintenance, fault finding and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

What We Offer

• £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, with salary open to discussion depending on experience. £65,000 - £70,000 OTE
