Job summary

Attega Group is seeking an experienced Pump Engineer to join the team. The role covers on-site maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of pump systems across Maidenhead, Bedford, Reading, London and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate has wastewater experience, a full driving license, and owns standard tools. DBS checks and occasional drug testing are part of the process; lunches are not provided.

• Experience as a Pump Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of pump systems and equipment.
• Preventive maintenance checks and routine inspections to identify issues and ensure reliability.
• Equipment installations, upgrades and fault finding/diagnosing problems with timely solutions.
• Participate in the Emergency Call Out Rota.
• Work with sewage and effluent systems, and confined spaces.
• Communicate with internal teams and provide reports/photos of pumps and equipment.
• Document activities and service logs to maintain records and traceability.

Are you an experienced Pump Engineer?

Attega Groupis currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting aPump Engineerto join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to perform general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that the pump systems and associated equipment are operating as specified and performing on-site repairs, maintenance and installations of equipment and machinery.

In return, our client is offering a salary ofup to £50,000, depending on experience, plus company van, fuel card, up to double time over time.

This is a full-time, permanent The hours of work will be Monday - Friday, flexibility for overtime is required and occasional late shift on a rota.

Reporting to the Hiring Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of pump systems and associated equipment.
• Conducting preventive maintenance checks and routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment reliability.
• Could include equipment installations, upgrades and fault finding/diagnosing equipment problems and providing timely and effective solutions.
• Participate in our Emergency Call Out Rota.
• At times work with sewage and effluent systems, and work within confined spaces.
• Communicate effectively with the internal teams including sales, providing reports and photos of pumps and associated equipment.
• Document activities, including service reports, repair logs and customer communication, to maintain accurate records and ensure traceability.

The ideal candidate:

• Previous experience as a Pump Engineer
• Wastewater experience
• Full driving license
• Have your own standard tools ( Specialist equipment is supplied )
• Excellent customer service
• All offers made by the client are subject to DBS checks
• The client performs random drug testing throughout employment and including induction week
• Lunches are unpaid breaks.
