Job summary

Attega Group Ltd is seeking a Pump Engineer to join our client’s team, performing electrical and mechanical duties to ensure pump systems operate as specified and completing on-site repairs, maintenance and installations.

The position is full-time and permanent, Monday to Friday with overtime flexibility. Salary is up to £50,000 depending on experience, plus overtime benefits and standard company coverage such as a van and fuel card.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Pump Engineer.
• Wastewater experience is preferred.
• Full driving license is required.
• Have your own standard tools (specialist equipment is supplied).
• Excellent customer service is expected.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of pump systems and associated equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks and routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment reliability.
• Fault finding/diagnosing equipment problems and providing timely and effective solutions; upgrade installations as needed.
• Participate in Emergency Call Out rota.
• Work with sewage and effluent systems, and in confined spaces where required.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and provide reports/photos of pumps and equipment.
• Document activities, service reports and logs to maintain traceability.

Attega Groupis currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting aPump Engineerto join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to perform general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that the pump systems and associated equipment are operating as specified and performing on-site repairs, maintenance and installations of equipment and machinery.

In return, our client is offering a salary ofup to £50,000, depending on experience, plus company van, fuel card, up to double time over time.

This is a full-time, permanent The hours of work will be Monday - Friday, flexibility for overtime is required.

Reporting to the Hiring Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of pump systems and associated equipment.
• Conducting preventive maintenance checks and routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment reliability.
• Could include equipment installations, upgrades and fault finding/diagnosing equipment problems and providing timely and effective solutions.
• Participate in our Emergency Call Out Rota.
• At times work with sewage and effluent systems, and work within confined spaces.
• Communicate effectively with the internal teams including sales, providing reports and photos of pumps and associated equipment.
• Document activities, including service reports, repair logs and customer communication, to maintain accurate records and ensure traceability.

The ideal candidate:

• Previous experience as a Pump Engineer
