Job summary

Made Tech seeks a Senior Service Designer to advance end-to-end public services using a systemic, service-led approach. You will shape strategy and hands-on delivery, aligning policy intent with digital delivery while driving organisational change across cross-functional teams.

You will mentor designers, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and help mature Made Tech’s Service Design practice. The role includes engaging with clients and contributing to bids and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Expert in core Service Design tools including Service Blueprints, Ecosystem Maps, and Stakeholder Maps.
• Able to coach and mentor other designers and set the Service Design standards across engagements.
• Experience championing the value and practice of Service Design with clients, partners, and peers.

Responsibilities

• Assure the successful design and delivery of public services by applying a holistic Service Design lens across technology, policy, process, and organisation.
• Build service design maturity, facilitating the design process, and communicating complex decisions to senior stakeholders.
• Design, prototype and test seamless online and offline services, ensuring aligned outcomes across organisational and user perspectives.
• Champion the practice across Made Tech and contribute to training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Build trust with clients by demonstrating value of Service Design and influencing wider organisational or policy change.
