Job summary

Mental Health Matters in the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Talking Therapies service invites applications for a senior practitioner in the Cannock team. You will deliver low-intensity psychological interventions, provide line management and clinical supervision, and work 37.5 hours a week with hybrid working after probation.

You must hold the NHS Talking Therapies PWP qualification and BABCP or BPS registration, with at least one year's post-qualification experience delivering low-intensity

Qualifications

• Recognised NHS Talking Therapies PWP qualification.
• Experience delivering low-intensity interventions.
• BABCP or BPS registration required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver low-intensity interventions such as guided self-help and group psychoeducation, and give clinical guidance
• Line manage, case manage and clinically supervise trainee and qualified Low Intensity workers
• Carry out assessments, risk assessments and treatment interventions in 1-1 and group settings
• Maintain high clinical standards, accurate clinical records and outcome measures
• Work alongside the Step 2 Lead and Senior PWPs to meet the needs of people using the service
• Support audits and encourage continuing professional development across the team
• Work with colleagues, GP practices and other health and social care professionals to make appropriate referrals
