Job summary

Mental Health Matters (MHM) invites applications for a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner in Cannock. The role involves leading a Cannock team within the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Talking Therapies service, providing clinical supervision and line management while delivering low-intensity interventions to patients with anxiety and depression.

You will assess, manage risk, and ensure high clinical standards, maintaining records and contributing to CPD.

Qualifications

• Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with post-qualification experience.
• Experience delivering low-intensity interventions in primary care.
• Ability to provide clinical supervision and support to trainees/colleagues.
• Familiarity with outcome measures and clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessments and risk assessments in 1-1 and group settings.
• Provide clinical guidance and supervision to Trainee/Qualified Low Intensity workers.
• Lead line management and support for the Cannock team under direction of senior staff.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and outcome measures; support audits.
