Job summary

Mental Health Matters is recruiting a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner for the Cannock Team in Staffordshire. You will lead on low‑intensity interventions, provide clinical supervision, and contribute to service development within our Talking Therapies provision.

The role requires a PWP qualification, BABCP/BPS registration, and experience supervising others in a therapeutic setting. Hybrid working and ongoing CPD are supported.

Qualifications

• Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with post‑qualification experience delivering low‑intensity interventions.
• Experience supervising others within a therapy setting.
• Experience working in primary care and with IAPT services.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and risk assessments.
• Deliver evidence‑based low‑intensity interventions (guided self‑help, psychoeducation).
• Provide supervision to trainee and qualified PWPs and lead on clinical governance and records.
• Support referrals and collaboration with GPs and other health/social care professionals.
