Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust in Milton Keynes is seeking a senior psychotherapist to lead the development of psychotherapy provision within the Mental Health Hub. The post involves supervision of MBT therapists, trainees and assistants, plus teaching and consultation across the team and with partners outside the service.

You will conduct specialist assessments, formulate treatment plans for complex cases, and drive service evaluation to measure patient safety and care

Formación

• Qualifying training in psychodynamic psychotherapy (group or individual).
• Eligible for Column C of the SCOPED framework.
• Accreditation/registration with the BPC, UKCP, BACP.
• Experience leading psychotherapy services and training staff.

Responsabilidades

• Provide specialist assessments using complex psychodynamic data.
• Formulate and implement plans for fixed-term psychotherapy and management of service user's mental health problems.
• Evaluate and make decisions about treatment options considering theoretical and therapeutic factors.
• Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for assessment, treatment and discharge.
• Provide specialist psychodynamic consultation to other professionals.
• Disseminate psychodynamic research and theory to the treating team.
