Job summary

Milton Keynes Talking Therapies (MKTT) is seeking an experienced Consultant Clinical Psychologist to join as Clinical Lead. The post focuses on strong clinical and strategic leadership to maintain high-quality NHS Talking Therapies services across Milton Keynes.

You will oversee governance of psychological therapy practice, supervise staff, monitor outcomes, and drive service improvement and workforce development within MKTT, aligning with national guidance and local priorities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strong clinical and strategic leadership within Milton Keynes Talking Therapies.
• Exercise responsibility for governance of psychological therapy practice, ensuring supervision, clinical governance and quality assurance.
• Work collaboratively with clinical, operational and administrative colleagues to provide effective, evidence-based psychological therapies.
• Lead on maintaining and improving clinical outcomes, service quality and patient experience.
• Support workforce development, staff wellbeing, recruitment and retention initiatives.
• Ensure achievement of key performance indicators, including recovery rates and waiting times.
