Job summary

First Bus Glasgow Caledonia Depot is seeking a Master Technician to join a busy engineering team. You will diagnose and resolve vehicle faults, support diagnostic updates, and train engineering staff on-site.

The role requires Level 4 hybrid EV training and a minimum Level 3 PSV/HGV qualification, plus a valid UK driving license. You will report to the Engineering Manager, work with the Head of Engineering on future projects, and benefit from a comprehensive rewards package and on-going training

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support by diagnosing and resolving vehicle faults.
• Support updates to diagnostic equipment and deliver on-site guidance and training to engineering teams.
• Share technical information and best practices with colleagues and attend training courses to maintain knowledge.
• Report to the Engineering Manager and collaborate with the Head of Engineering on future projects.
