Job summary

Channel Islands Co-operative Society Limited in Jersey is seeking a Senior Projects Manager to lead delivery of property projects across the Coop's portfolio. You will oversee the development and implementation of the property operating model, ensuring efficient delivery of store interventions at an operational level.

Reporting to the Chief Property and Sustainability Officer, you will manage the Projects Coordinator and project managers, control budgets and schedules, collaborate with designers

Qualifications

• Experience of multi-location portfolio and contracts management within a commercial and residential environment.
• Experience or knowledge of industry practices relating to reactive maintenance and minor works projects.
• The ability to produce clear written reports.
• Experience of line management at a manager level.
• The ability to communicate effectively in verbally and in writing, at all levels.
• Sound ICT skills including a working knowledge of AI and Microsoft business applications.
• The ability to manage a diverse workload within specified timescales.
• Good administrative skills and the ability to maintain records in various formats.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or evenings as required.
• Must possess a full current driving license (car).
• Comfortable commuting within the Channel Islands (expenses reimbursed).

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of property projects across the Coop, overseeing development and implementation of the operating model.
• Support governance and control processes with PMO partners, designers and support office.
• Plan, deliver and reintegrate store interventions from small re-lays to multi-million pound overhauls.
• Report to the Chief Property and Sustainability Officer on project activity and performance.
• Manage the Projects Coordinator and project managers, including work plans and progress monitoring.
• Develop plans, schedules, budgets and forecasts for future property activity.
• Ensure suppliers and contractors are properly appointed with suitable terms and conditions.
