Channel Islands Co-operative Society Limited is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager in Jersey to lead the Property Team, oversee maintenance works, and help implement the operating model for our property function.

You will support the CPSO and HSC, realising value across the portfolio and driving low-carbon initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on facilities management experience.

Qualifications

• Experience of multi-site and multi-contract management within a commercial and residential environment.
• Experience or knowledge of reactive maintenance services and minor works projects.
• Ability to produce clear written reports.
• Experience of line management at a coordinator level.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, at all levels.
• Sound ICT skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
• Ability to manage a diverse workload which entails both regular and ad-hoc elements, within specified timescales.
• Good administrative skills and the ability to maintain records in various formats as required.
• Ability to work to a flexible time pattern to suit service needs, including early starts or evenings.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Property Team in the Coop, leading and supporting the team.
• Help implement the target operating model for the Property Function and ensure robust systems and processes.
• Support the Chief Property and Sustainability Officer and realise added-value opportunities across the property portfolio.
• Work with the Head of Sustainability to identify and realise low-carbon opportunities across the estate.
