Job summary
Medway Housing Society is seeking a Property Inspector to support the delivery of repairs and maintenance in a dynamic team. You will assist with inspections, contractor liaison, and quality monitoring while ensuring Health and Safety compliance.
The ideal candidate will be NVQ qualified, have relevant experience in housing repairs, and possess a valid driving licence. Our company values diversity and inclusion, encouraging applications from all qualified individuals.
Qualifications
- Trade NVQ qualified to level 3 or equivalent.
- Health & Safety awareness required.
- Experience in housing repairs and trades, particularly in kitchens & bathrooms.
- Supervising experience is a must.
- Experience in social housing or maintenance sector is desirable.
- Full and valid driving licence required.
- Ability to use a PDA mobile device to manage your work.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of repairs and maintenance service.
- Conduct pre and post inspections.
- Liaise with contractors and document inspections.
- Monitor quality of work for DLO and external contractors.
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance.
