Wates Group is seeking an experienced Project Surveyor to join our West Midlands team, delivering high-quality social housing planned maintenance programmes. You will manage commercial performance, budgets and cost plans, procure subcontractors, and ensure accurate valuation and final accounts.

• Proven experience as a Project Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor within social housing planned works.
• Experience managing programmes including kitchens, bathrooms, externals, and roofing.
• Experience working with high-profile clients and building strong relationships.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, reporting, and contract management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the commercial aspects of planned works projects from mobilisation through to final account.
• Prepare, monitor, and report on project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans.
• Procure subcontractors and suppliers, including tendering, negotiation, and contract administration.
• Ensure accurate valuation of works, applications for payment, and cost value reconciliation.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities across projects.
• Support operational teams in delivering schemes efficiently and within financial targets.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Produce and present regular commercial reports to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual requirements, and industry standards.
