Job summary

Sulzer Leeds is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to own planning across large engineering projects in our Advanced Pump Design and Manufacturing Centre of Excellence. You’ll build and maintain end-to-end schedules, align engineering, procurement, manufacturing and testing, and drive clarity through complexity.

The role requires strong MS Project skills, working knowledge of SAP, and a proven ability to manage interdependencies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Scheduler / Planner within large, complex engineering or manufacturing projects.
• Strong, hands-on experience with MS Project.
• Working knowledge of SAP within a project or manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable managing projects with many interdependencies, long lead items and competing priorities.
• Confident communicator who can challenge constructively and influence stakeholders.
• A structured, detail-driven mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture.

Responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining and controlling end‑to‑end project schedules using MS Project.
• Working closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to ensure plans are realistic, integrated and achievable.
• Managing schedule risk, critical paths and dependencies across complex, multi‑discipline projects.
• Using SAP to track progress, materials, production milestones and performance.
• Providing clear schedule reporting, forecasts and insights to support decision‑making.
• Driving continuous improvement in planning standards, tools and processes.
