Amcogiffen is seeking a Project / Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management across multiple rail and civil engineering projects in Wales. The role focuses on delivering profitable outcomes within NEC and bespoke Network Rail contracts, coordinating with site teams and the supply chain.

The successful candidate will have significant QS experience in rail/civil environments, a relevant degree, and a proven ability to manage change, contracts and client relations to ensure timely,

Formación

• Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor in rail and/or civil engineering.
• Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline.
• Experience delivering civil engineering projects such as rail, bridges, highways, structures or infrastructure works.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts and/or bespoke Network Rail contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the commercial management of multiple projects and work packages.
• Prepare, review and submit valuations, estimates and payment applications.
• Manage client-facing commercial matters and resolve issues effectively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners.
• Collaborate with Site Managers and Project Managers to monitor costs, progress and risks.
• Manage subcontract procurement, payments and contractual compliance.
• Identify, monitor and manage change events and early warnings.
• Produce Cost Value Reconcilations (CVRs) and commercial reports.
• Support project forecasting, final accounts and performance reviews.
