Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Project Planner to join its Programme Management team at the Advanced Manufacturing Facility in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. The role supports the end-to-end planning lifecycle from proposal to execution, with a 4xFlex pattern and hybrid working.

You will manage end-to-end planning, lead proposal planning, and ensure schedule integration, risk management and IMS updates to drive project performance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Planner or PMO Planning role.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software.
• Experience of managing Resource loaded Schedules.
• Experience with Earned Value Management and Critical Path Management.
• Confident individual who maintains best planning practice under pressure.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain end-to-end lifecycle of planning and scheduling in support of capture and execution.
• Lead proposal planning including development of planning artefacts for solicitation responses and interface with program management and customer.
• Validate cost and schedule integration for effective program performance management.
• Ensure vertical and horizontal integration between all schedules and program artefacts.
• Model and measure techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baselines.
• Resolve schedule conflicts and implement work-around strategies and tactical alternatives.
• Utilise performance and health metrics to communicate actions to the programme team.
• Maintain IMS status updates on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Support the Project Business Rhythm and generate Schedule Information for reviews.
