Job summary

Laminar Projects, part of Laminar Group, seeks a senior Planning Manager for UK Defence projects. You will lead planning across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring robust governance and high-quality project controls.

The role involves mentoring 2-5 consultants and driving improvements in planning tooling and processes. Delivering complex infrastructure, you will coordinate 2-3 days on-site per fortnight in Southern England, with travel to sites as needed and a strong emphasis on developing client

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience delivering engineering and construction projects.
• Excellent English communication and leadership of planning teams.
• Ability to obtain UK security clearance and reside in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Own the plan: define roles and responsibilities across your team to meet project requirements on time.
• Own the outcome: deliver project outcomes and keep the team aligned with the plan.
• Report and inform: create clear, actionable reports for stakeholders at all levels.
• Make scalable solutions: develop repeatable best practices and tools with the team.
• Develop everyone: maximise development of your team and educate clients.
