Job summary

Hampshire County Council is seeking a Senior Project Officer to join the Families First Partnership Programme. You will help shape and deliver change, strengthen partnerships, and ensure families receive the right help at the right time.

The role requires project delivery experience, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders. Permanent, 37 hours per week, with salary £41,985 to £46,565 per annum.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic projects and programmes across the directorate, delivering structured change using recognised project management methodologies.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support workstream leads and maintain robust project controls, including RAID logs, resource tracking, and cost monitoring.
• Support with project boards and team meetings, producing high-quality reports and presentations to communicate progress and outcomes.
• Develop and oversee implementation plans, including PID reviews and performance modelling.
• Collaborate with other project teams to identify dependencies, share resources, and drive efficiencies.
