Job summary

Carmichael UK in West London is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a flagship energy infrastructure project. You will be responsible for programme delivery, commercial performance, stakeholder management and end-to-end execution from inception through to completion.

The role involves guiding multi-disciplinary teams, subcontractors and consultants, ensuring NEC contract compliance and robust risk management, with regular updates to senior leadership and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering major energy/infrastructure projects.
• Leadership experience in Tier 1 contractor or utility environment.
• Strong NEC contracts knowledge and commercial management.
• Experience managing large project teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related.
• APM or PMP qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a major energy infrastructure project.
• Manage multidisciplinary delivery teams, subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders.
• Oversee planning, risk, procurement, and contract administration.
• Provide regular reporting to senior leadership and client teams.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain client relationships while managing commercial obligations.
