Job summary

A leading project management firm in the UK is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major workstreams across complex electrical and energy infrastructure programmes. Candidates will be responsible for full lifecycle delivery, strategic contract leadership, and cross-disciplinary coordination. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and proven experience in managing large infrastructure projects. This role requires 2-3 days per week presence in client offices in Glasgow or Perth, offering a dynamic workplace with a focus on professional growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex projects in the electrical infrastructure or energy sector.
• Able to manage multiple workstreams independently in a safety-critical environment.
• Strong track record in delivering OHL, substations, underground cables, or major electrical engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of major workstreams from design to handover.
• Manage NEC contracts at a strategic level including early warnings and change control.
• Provide technical leadership across electrical infrastructure standards.
