Job summary

Avove is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple water and wastewater projects for United Utilities in the Northwest.

You will develop and coach Project Managers, oversee delivery and budgets, identify risks early and implement corrective actions, and maintain quality and HSEQ compliance while building strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading senior project teams and developing PMs.
• Proven ability to deliver large-scale water/wastewater projects end-to-end.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership.
• Knowledge of NEC forms of contract and HSEQ legislation.
• NEBOSH/IOSH or NEC PMA accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Project Managers to maximise performance.
• Oversee delivery and financial performance across a portfolio of work.
• Identify risks early and implement corrective actions.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise all project activities.
• Manage change control, commercial inputs and supplier quotations.
• Build relationships with clients, supply chain and internal teams.
• Conduct site visits and attend management meetings.
• Sign off supply chain work and contribute to final accounts.
