Job summary

Avove is seeking a Senior Design Manager to join our United Utilities design team in Warrington. This permanent role offers a hybrid working policy with time split between office and home.

You will lead multidisciplinary design programmes across water and wastewater projects, directing performance, resources, governance and stakeholder relationships to ensure solutions are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Engineering with Chartered Engineer status.
• Extensive experience delivering water and wastewater projects.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams to deliver complex water projects on time and within budget.
• Manage multiple design workstreams ensuring quality, programme and commercial objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure compliance with standards and governance.
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships to support delivery.
