Job summary

Vertical Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major water infrastructure programme across North Wales and Chester, ensuring safe, efficient, and commercially successful delivery.

The role offers hybrid working with site presence, office collaboration, and remote flexibility, and involves NEC contract administration, stakeholder engagement, and governance across multiple workstreams within AMP8.

Qualifications

• Strong infrastructure or major capital project PM experience.
• Excellent knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and partners; strong commercial awareness.
• Ability to lead projects through full lifecycle delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects within a regulated environment.
• Manage programme performance across scope, cost, risk, and schedule.
• Administer and manage NEC contracts effectively.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and external stakeholders.
• Support client engagement and maintain strong working relationships.
• Drive project governance, reporting, and commercial performance.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with safety, quality, and compliance standards.
