Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading distributor of Racking & Storage products that is looking to onboard a Senior Project Manager to effectively manage their projects across the North West and the UK. With a competitive basic salary and a number of other benefits, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong understanding of the Racking & Storage industry in a fast-paced and growing environment.

Responsibilities

1. Managing high-value bespoke complex solutions for our customers, which can include racking, mezzanine flooring, partitioning, and related products.
2. Working closely with customers throughout the project’s timeline and managing their expectations.
3. Ensuring that all equipment, plant, and labour are on site when required and are coordinated effectively.
4. Working closely with the Head of Realisation and the sales team to ensure that projects run smoothly and efficiently.
5. Managing all aspects of project activities including Budget Management, Site Management, CDM / H&S responsibilities, and third-party suppliers.

Requirements

The company ideally seeks an individual with experience managing high-value projects within the Racking & Storage industry. You will also need to run multiple high-value projects simultaneously.

It is preferable that you have a basic understanding of AutoCAD. Due to role requirements, you must hold a full UK driver’s license as you will be expected to travel to customer sites frequently. Ideally, you will be based in the North West or within reasonable travel distance from the office.

Their range of products includes pallet racking, steel partitioning, mezzanine floors, industrial shelving, and workplace equipment. They are now also the sole supplier for a number of Warehouse Robotics products across the UK. Established over 50 years ago, the organization is making a push into Warehouse Automation to offer comprehensive solutions to their clients.
