Job summary

Vulcain Engineering UK is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the Main Control Room programme at Hinkley Point C. The role requires a delivery-focused leader who can interface with customer stakeholders and coordinate multidisciplinary teams in a complex engineering environment.

You will drive delivery across engineering, manufacturing, installation and commissioning, manage risks, and maintain robust reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Nuclear, Energy, Infrastructure or defence project environments.
• Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and change control processes.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers.
• Strong customer and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Willing to reside in Somerset/South West UK or relocate.

Responsibilities

• Act as UK-based interface between project team and customer stakeholders.
• Drive delivery across engineering, manufacturing, installation and completion.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and build relationships at all levels.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet milestones and objectives.
• Manage risks, issues, actions and recovery plans.
• Support NEC3/NEC4 contract administration and change control.
• Monitor progress and implement governance and reporting.
• Capture lessons learned for future programme phases.
