Job summary

Kier Group plc, based in Suffolk, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead the Nuclear & Energy team on major infrastructure contracts. You will manage resources, budgets and schedules, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery while maximising client satisfaction and financial performance.

The role requires a degree or equivalent, with a professional PM qualification and site badges alongside extensive experience in infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• APM Project Management qualification (or equivalent); CSCS card and SMSTS.
• Experience delivering major highways or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and supply chains.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based portals; valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from start to completion, ensuring safety and efficient operations.
• Manage strategic relationships with clients, contractors, local communities and stakeholders.
• Oversee budget management, cost forecasting and value engineering.
• Lead programme and critical path management with risk mitigation and KPI reporting.
• Coach and develop delivery teams to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
