Job summary

Tier One Recruitment is seeking experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to join a major, long-term infrastructure programme in East Suffolk. This site-focused role covers planning through handover on substantial civil packages.

The role requires strong delivery leadership, contractor and stakeholder management, and a solid background in major infrastructure projects. On-site work in East Suffolk is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong major-project delivery experience.
• Project Manager or Senior PM background.
• Contractor-side experience highly regarded.
• Robust construction and commercial awareness.
• NEC3/NEC4 experience is advantageous.
• Able to work on-site in East Suffolk.

Job description

We are looking for experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to join the delivery team on a major, long-term infrastructure programme in East Suffolk.

This is a site-focused role managing major civil construction packages from planning through delivery, completion and handover.

The role:

• Lead delivery of major civil construction packages
• Manage contractors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
• Drive programme, cost, quality and safety performance
• Manage design, construction and stakeholder interfaces
• Oversee planning, risk, change and project controls
• Drive works through construction, completion and handover

We’re looking for experience across:

• Heavy civils and major infrastructure
• Earthworks and deep excavations
• Reinforced concrete and major structures
• Piling and foundations
• Tunnelling and shafts
• Roads, utilities and drainage
• Marine and coastal works
• Temporary works

Experience on nuclear, power, rail, highways, tunnelling, water, marine or other major infrastructure projects would be highly relevant.

About you:

• Strong major-project delivery experience
• Project Manager, Senior PM, Construction Manager or similar background
• Contractor-side experience highly regarded
• Strong construction and commercial understanding
• NEC3/NEC4 experience advantageous
• Comfortable working in a complex, highly regulated environment
• Able to work site-based in East Suffolk
